The Wildwood Farmers Market was the site of a wild market day thanks, in part, to the the generosity of Chipotle and their program that supports local farmers markets. Chipotle made a donation to the market that allowed us to pass out $10 tokens that the public could then use to make purchases from any of the vendors. Starting at 8:30 there was a line of 30 people that had heard of the special event either on TV, on our website, Facebook or in the City of Wildwood’s newsletter. and the energy continued throughout the morning. By 10:45 almost 200 tokens were passed out. As you can imagine, the vendors were all quite excited as the tokens quickly made their way into the hands to the vendors. At the end of the day the vendors turned their tokens in for cash – thanks to the Chipotle donation.
The market would like to thank Chipotle for their program and their generous support of our farmers market.
