Opening Day is Saturday!

Thursday, May 19th, 2016 | George Sackett | market-report

Are you getting excited? We are! Reading all of the vendor applications, talking to vendors, making the list of the produce, working on the website….the market season opening day is almost here.

Produce Reports are starting to come in:
We will have a beautiful variety of loose leaf and head lettuces, spinach, beets, asparagus, radishes, a variety of kale, green onions, strawberries, turnips, carrots, rhubarb, Napa cabbage, pac choi, edible flowers, salad mix, sprouts, hot house tomatoes and cucumbers, sugar snap peas, chard, dried morels, eggs, beef, pork, chicken, alpaca meat and fiber craft.

Look for perennials, a variety of roses bushes, plant starts, jams and jellies, spice blends, wooden spoons, handmade glass beads, worry dolls, cut flower bouquets, concrete cast birdbaths, handmade jewelry, dog treats, dog food and more.

We also expect a selection of wild salmon.

We will try to keep you updated with a market report and vendor list each week.

We have a number of special activities going on this weekend as well. The Eureka High School Girls Field Hockey team will be doing face painting, Wildwood Green Arts will be hosting a hands on Critter Creation contest for all ages, and live music by Blue Strings Bluegrass.

See you at the market!
