After being rained in for a few days, isn’t it time to get out and enjoy a lovely morning at the farmers market? The produce is beautiful, sweet and juicy from all the rain. Enjoy fresh, local, seasonal produce and meet the folks that grow it.

Produce and farm products Saturday will include peaches, blueberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, watermelon, sweet corn, a variety of tomatoes (including heirloom), cucumbers, zucchini, potatoes, onions, green peppers, carrots, beets, eggplant, green beans, patty pan squash, yellow squash, green onions, garlic, a variety of meat cuts including beef, pork and lamb cuts, jams, jellies, eggs and honey.

Adventures in Spice– local, custom blended herb and spices

Louise Belt– a variety of local, seasonal produce

The Bent Pig– Cherrywood smoked ribs, cherrywood smoked pulled pork, potato salad with leek and pickled onions, and a very special sausage: cherrywood smoked chicken sausage with chanterelle, citrus, and Cointreau! Also, we will have a few garlic links.

Blooming with Joy– hand blended premium loose leaf teas

Brushy Creek– local seasonal produce, egg, and baked goods

Cadet Creek– local seasonal produce from the field and greenhouse

Eggs by Kathy– handcrafted Pysanky eggs and handmade jewelry

Lisa Vogel, Eilerman Bros Farms and Orchards– Calhoun County, IL produce, fruits, and berries, pies and turnovers

Great Harvest Bread (Maplewood MO)- locally made breads- honey wheat, white, vanilla chip, Dakota, and Schlafly Beer bread

Klever Koala– A variety of unique hand-made creations.  You can find table runners, placemats, diaper burp cloths, bibs, plastic grocery bag holders, pillow cases, diaper cakes and more.
